Germany is located in West-central Europe, and is bordered by Denmark, Poland, the Czech Republic, Austria, Switzerland, France, Luxembourg, Belgium and the Netherlands. The country has a total area of 357,022 square feet, which is only 4.4% of the size of the Continental US.
The lowlands of germany are found in the north, with the uplands in the center, and the Bavarian alps in the south. Germany is also bordered by Lake Constance, one of the largest lakes in Europe, as well as the North and Baltic Seas.
